Community Choir presents Christmas concert
The Mount Gilead Community Choir presented its 18th annual Christmas concert Sun., Dec. 2, 2012, in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Mount Gilead.
The concert, entitled What Sweeter Music, featured a variety of choral works performed by a 25-member choir. Donna Greene-Burleson accompanied the group on piano.
In keeping with the choir's tradition, there was no admission charge for the concert. A large audience attended, and many non-perishables were collected for the Mount Gilead Food Pantry.
The choir's Christmas concert was followed by an open house at the Mount Gilead Museum.
