Our Programs

The Mount Gilead Community Choir has presented a Christmas concert annually since its beginning in 1995. Occasionally, the choir will present an additional concert at some other time of year, or team up with church choirs for other programs.

What's Coming Up

The Stations of the Cross
March 28, 7:00 p.m.

Mount Gilead Community Choir singers have been invited to participate in The Stations of the Cross, sponsored by First Baptist, First Presbyterian and First United Methodist Churches of Mount Gilead. Rehearsals are Sundays, 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., at First Baptist Church, and all singers are welcome. The combined choir is directed by Johnny Almond and accompanied by Donna Greene-Burleson.

The program, which will feature a series of original paintings by artist Nancy Sandgren, will be presented Palm Sunday, March 28, 7:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 133 South Main Street.
