Community Choir concert scheduled

Annual program to be held Dec. 2

The Mount Gilead Community Choir will present its 18th annual Christmas concert, on Sun., Dec. 2, 2012. Watch for more details in the coming months.

The choir welcomes all area singers to join, and rehearsals will begin Sun., Sept. 9. See the Community Choir page for more information.

 

What We Do

MGCCA seeks to fulfill its mission in four main ways:

• We present to the public an annual Concert Series featuring visiting musicians who represent a variety of genres.
• We make every effort to arrange for our performing artists to present an educational program for local students.
• We sponsor the Mount Gilead Community Choir, which presents an annual Christmas concert and other occasional programs.
• We operate Community Radio 88.1 FM WMTG, a low-power station that airs announcements of community interest around a program of oldies and adult contemporary music.
